Saga battle report, sacred ground

I fought my second saga game, and first with my new jomsvikings. The scenario was sacred ground, where the objective is to keep and hold 3 terrain features with as many troops as long as you can.

Jomsvikings have a distinct mechanism with their battleboard, they have to gather "wrath" so that they can activate their deadlier abilities. Basically your opponent has to choose between 2 evils, ie. "lose 3 men or give me 2 wrath" or "I'll get more armor or 1 wrath" and so on. Better battle abilities then use and lower your wrath level, ie. "Gain wrath amount off ATT/DEF dice, and lower your wrath by 1".
My plan was to use saga dice early on to get wrath, which nearly cost me the match, as my opponent managed to man the objectives early on, and started to score faster. Points in this scenario are calculated after your opponents turn, game is 8 turns. However, with full 6 wrath, jomsvikings became living embodiments of Thor, and managed to win the control and kill off the vikings.

Saga is fun, light and fast, this 6pts game took 3 hours mainly because we both were reading through the rulebook in the beginning. I estimate that 1.5-2 hours would be closer to the truth after few games.
