Saga battlereport, homeland

 

We played another game of SAGA, this time a scenario called "homeland"

 

 

In the scenario, opponents secretly barter how many points they are willing to loose from their army to get the defender role, and get to barricade inside the buildings. I chose to play with 5 points, and my opponent with 4, so he got the role of the defender. Attacker needs to clear the buildings in 6 turns, and defender either stay there, or kill attackers warlord.

Originally my opponent wanted to play Anglo Saxons, but we both agreed that they would be crippled if forced to play 4pts vs. 6pts, and he changed to vikings on the fly.

The scenario was not as good as 2 previous I have played, defender basically does nothing but garrisons inside the buildings. Nevertheless, it was fun game .
