WIP terminator and tip for your paints

I've been painting a GW chaos terminator lord for few days now. I magnetized the arms and head, so I can swap weapons and make the character either lord or sorcerer.

And finally the base for spawn.

So, a demon needs a base. I scavenged my hellbrute's base and gave it a shot. Some of you might recognize the influence of James Wappel in it. Influence might be a bit of an understatement, as it is pretty much copycat work :)

Finally :)
I painted the skin with dwarf skin, and shaded towards purple. This gave nice inflammed look. Highlights were with elf skin with a dash of green in them to enhance the sickened feeling.

After about 4 evenings of sculpting, the spawn is ready for painting.

 After a very long break, mainly due to lack of intrest, I bought 7th edition 40k rulebook and new CSM codex, and thought to dig up my old Chaos space marines.
It now seems that I need daemons for my malefic daemonology spells and various other uses:)
